Six Porsches, one set of assumptions

Those are Luxemetry 36-month, 10,000-mile estimates at a 0.0027 money factor (6.48% comparison shorthand, not loan APR), not dealer quotes. The Taycan stickers at $106,000 with a 46% residual. The Cayenne stickers at $84,000 with a 55% residual. Nine points of residual, not a higher sticker, is why the EV costs more per month than the SUV.

A Macan is about $842 a month. A 718 Cayman is about $962. A Panamera is about $1,500. A Carrera-class 911 is about $2,162. A GT3 or Turbo S would price much higher than $2,162. This page does not invent those monthly numbers.

All figures assume 36 months, 10,000 miles per year, a 0.0027 money factor (6.48% comparison shorthand, not loan APR), and Luxemetry's modeled market adjustment. Every model in this table is modeled at or below sticker. Porsche's range is a residual story, not a markup story.

  • Macan. MSRP $65,000. Residual 56% ($36,400). Market adj. −6%. About $842 a month. Due at signing $8,542.

  • 718 Cayman. MSRP $74,000. Residual 58% ($42,920). Market adj. −4%. About $962 a month. Due at signing $9,562.

  • Cayenne. MSRP $84,000. Residual 55% ($46,200). Market adj. −5%. About $1,127 a month. Due at signing $10,727.

  • Panamera. MSRP $107,000. Residual 50% ($53,500). Market adj. −7%. About $1,500 a month. Due at signing $13,400.

  • Taycan. MSRP $106,000. Residual 46% ($48,760). Market adj. −9%. About $1,531 a month. Due at signing $13,331.

  • 911 (Carrera-class). MSRP $175,000. Residual 63% ($110,250). Market adj. −1%. About $2,162 a month. Due at signing $20,862.

Why the Taycan costs more per month than the Cayenne

The Taycan is not a more expensive Porsche. It is a worse residual. $106,000 versus $84,000 at the window, 46% versus 55% at the bank. The Cayenne estimate is about $1,127 a month. The Taycan is about $1,531. The extra $404 a month is the residual hole plus a modest sticker gap.

At 46%, the bank thinks $57,240 of Taycan sticker is used up in 36 months. At 55%, the Cayenne uses up $37,800. Residual value is doing the sorting.

Porsche does run manufacturer lease programs in some months, on some models. These estimates do not assume a subsidy. They use a 0.0027 money factor (6.48% comparison shorthand, not loan APR) across the board. If Porsche Financial Services is subventing the Taycan or the Macan in the month you shop, the real payment can come in below this table.

Macan through 911, Carrera-class only

The Macan is the cheapest lease in this article: $65,000 MSRP, 56% residual, about $842 a month. The Cayenne is $84,000 and 55%, about $1,127 a month.

The 718 Cayman is modeled at $74,000, 58% residual, about $962 a month. That answers Porsche sports car without answering 911 budget.

The Panamera ($107,000, 50%, about $1,500) sits next to the Taycan for the same reason: two weak residuals at nearly the same sticker.

The 911 page is a generic Carrera-class car. $175,000 MSRP, 63% residual, about $2,162 a month. GT3 and Turbo S cars are not this car. Treat $2,162 as Carrera-class planning money, not as a 911.

How to use a Porsche quote

Agree the selling price as if you were paying cash, then ask for residual for the exact term and miles, money factor versus buy rate, and the worksheet.

Put the five inputs into the lease calculator or the model page. If the formula and the worksheet disagree, a capitalized fee is in the deal.

These estimates use 10,000 miles a year. Raise the allowance if you need it. The residual will fall. That is cheaper than paying excess-mileage penalties on return.
