What this site is

Luxemetry publishes free calculators and reference data for luxury assets. The launch library covers lease payments, lease-versus-purchase comparisons, total cost of ownership, depreciation, watch holding value, handbag resale and cost per wear, jewelry resale against metal content, and yacht operating cost across 44 cars, 29 watches, 32 handbags, 27 jewelry pieces, 22 yachts, and 67 long-form cost guides across cars, watches, handbags, jewelry, and yachts.

The premise is simple. A dealer quote compresses five separate variables into one monthly number, and most published calculators either oversimplify the formula or ignore the specifics that matter at this end of the market. These tools use the same arithmetic a leasing bank uses, and show the intermediate figures rather than hiding them.

Where the numbers come from

The lease, loan, and depreciation formulas are industry standard and documented throughout the guides. They are not proprietary and you can verify any result by hand.

The vehicle data — MSRP, residual percentages, depreciation curves, insurance and maintenance estimates — is compiled from publicly observable market information: manufacturer pricing, published lease programs, listing and auction data, and industry cost surveys. It is reviewed periodically and represents modeled estimates, not quotes.

We do not connect to any live pricing API, and no figure on this site should be treated as an offer. Residual values and money factors change monthly, vary by region and credit tier, and are set by lenders rather than by us. Always confirm the actual numbers with the dealer and the leasing bank.

What this site is not

This is not financial, legal, or tax advice, and we are not licensed to provide any of those. Nothing here is a recommendation to enter into a particular transaction or to buy a particular asset. The calculators are arithmetic tools; the judgment about whether a purchase makes sense for you is yours, ideally with a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.

We do not sell assets, arrange financing, broker leases or charters, or pass your information to anyone who does. We are not an insurance agent and cannot bind coverage. Outbound quote links on Deal Desk send you to the carrier. Nothing you enter into a calculator is transmitted as a loan or insurance application — the free tools run in your browser.

How the site is funded

The site is free to use and may be funded by a digital Buying Pass license, clearly marked affiliate links, and commercial pilots for co-branded calculators. Google AdSense was rejected and is not used. Commercial pilots are currently inquiries only; there is no self-service license or established reporting service. These are potential funding sources, not a claim of current revenue. Merchants and licensees have no input into public estimates, formulas, or which models are covered.

How we publish and correct

Luxemetry is independently maintained. Manufacturers, dealers, brokers, lenders, insurers, and advertisers do not commission or approve the coverage. Every guide shows its last review date and links to the site's published methodology. Where a claim depends on a rule, service interval, or posted rate, we prioritize primary sources such as government guidance, manufacturer material, and official rate sheets.

Model outputs are labeled as estimates and kept separate from quoted facts. A correction that changes a conclusion, example, or calculator input also changes the page's review date. Readers can send a public source through the contact details below; corrections are made without charging the reader or the source.

Corrections

Market data ages, and some of it will be wrong. If you spot a figure that does not match reality — a residual that is off, a list price that has changed, a model that should be listed — please write to us at hello@taegye.com and we will review it. Corrections from people with direct transaction or ownership experience are the most useful feedback we receive.
