The Cheapest Exotic Car to Lease in 2026

Cheapest is a loaded word in this market — but every tier of it has a floor, and the floors are worth knowing before the picture picks the car. These are the least expensive modeled leases in each of this site's categories, and the residual math behind why each one is cheap. Not dealer quotes.

The floors, tier by tier

All figures are this site's standard model: 36 months, 10,000 miles a year, a 0.0027 money factor (6.48% comparison shorthand, not loan APR), 10% cash down, capitalized fees, cash fees, and 7.25% tax on the payment. Data snapshot: August 2026. Every number is a calculator output on a live row; every claim of 'cheapest' means cheapest among the 44 rows modeled here, not in the world.

One ranking, six winners.

  • Cheapest luxury SUV — Porsche Macan, about $842. MSRP $65,000, residual 56%. The cheapest payment of any row on the site, because the smallest depreciation bill on the site is $28,600.

  • Cheapest sports car — Porsche 718 Cayman, about $962. MSRP $74,000, residual 58%. Mid-engine, under a grand.

  • Cheapest luxury sedan — Porsche Panamera, about $1,500. MSRP $107,000, residual 50%, 7% discount. The quiet value of the executive class.

  • Cheapest EV — Porsche Taycan, about $1,531. MSRP $106,000, residual 46%, 9% discount. Cheap for a less comfortable reason — see below.

  • Cheapest grand tourer — Audi RS6 Avant, about $1,775. MSRP $128,000, residual 54%. A wagon, and the best GT math on the site.

  • Cheapest supercar — Audi R8, about $2,792. MSRP $197,000, residual 61%. The discontinued V10 holds strongly for its sticker, but four supercar rows here out-hold it: the Chiron at 72%, the Revuelto and 296 GTB at 66%, and the Huracan it shares an engine with at 62%.

Cheap for the right reason and cheap for the wrong one

There are two ways a lease gets cheap, and they age differently. The right reason is a strong residual on a modest sticker: the Macan, the 718, the M3 Competition at about $1,153 — the bank expects the car back worth something, so the payment rents very little depreciation. Cars like this are cheap the way index funds are cheap.

The wrong reason is a residual in collapse propped up by a showroom discount: the Taycan at 46%, the i7 at 42% and about $1,812, the RS e-tron GT at 45% and about $2,018. The payment is low because the price already fell and the bank braced for more. As a lessee that risk is the bank's problem, not yours — which is exactly why the wrong-reason cars are defensible leases and terrible purchases.

The Grecale is the cautionary tale between the two: $1,139 a month — near the Cayenne's $1,127 — but built from a 46% residual and an 11% discount on an $82,000 sticker. It undercuts nothing; the Macan beats it by $297 on a stronger residual. A payment can look like the right reason and be the wrong one. Always read the residual, not the monthly.

Cheapest among this site's 44 modeled rows, under one fixed assumption set. A subsidized money factor from a captive bank can beat any number here in a given quarter — that is what quotes are for.

The floors above the floors

Some tiers people actually shop are narrower than a category. Cheapest way into a Ferrari on this site: the Roma, about $3,235 on a 60% residual — the 296 GTB runs about $4,585. Cheapest Lamborghini: the Huracan at about $3,372, within $137 of the Roma despite a near-identical sticker, because 62% residual. Cheapest Rolls-Royce: the Ghost, about $5,643, with the full ladder rising past $8,000 for the Phantom.

Cheapest supercar performance, as distinct from supercar badge: the Corvette Z06 at about $1,679 — 2.6 seconds to sixty for less than an i7. Its 77% retention actually argues for buying it instead, which is its own kind of cheap.

And the cheapest German performance flagship is a tie worth knowing: AMG GT about $1,959 versus BMW M8 about $2,008 on near-identical stickers — eight residual points decide it in the Mercedes' favor.

How to use a floor

A floor is a reference, not a recommendation. Its job is to price the tier so the quote in your hand has context: if a dealer's Cayenne worksheet lands at $1,500 when the site's model says $1,127, the gap is either fees or margin, and both are negotiable.

The floors also price the jumps. SUV to sports car costs $120 a month. Sedan to EV flagship costs $31. GT to supercar costs about $1,000 — the single most expensive doorway on the site. Knowing what the next tier costs is the fastest cure for wanting it, or the cheapest way to commit.

Every winner above links to its own guide and calculator row below. I agree the selling price first, demand the five lease inputs, and run them through the calculator — the floor tells me when the answer smells wrong.

Three desks: brochure floors, live Macan row, methodology

I keep three sheets on this desk. Porsche's Macan and 911 pages, and the PFS offers page, are for printed stickers and examples. They are not this site's ranked floor table.

The live Macan row is https://luxemetry.com/cars/porsche/macan — about $842 a month on the site's 36-month, 10,000-mile sheet — the floor this guide keeps pointing at. Run any other row through https://luxemetry.com/lease-calculator before calling it cheaper.

How residuals and money factor are built is on https://luxemetry.com/methodology . Cheap for the wrong residual is still expensive.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the floor payments on this page come from?
Luxemetry calculator outputs on the live car rows under the site's standard lease assumptions. Porsche pages print stickers and examples; they are not this ranked floor table.
What is the cheapest exotic car to lease in 2026?
Among this site's 44 modeled rows, the cheapest true supercar is the Audi R8 at about $2,792 a month; the cheapest way into the exotic-adjacent tier is the Corvette Z06 at about $1,679. The cheapest luxury payment overall is the Porsche Macan at about $842.
What is the cheapest Ferrari to lease?
On this site's model, the Roma: about $3,235 a month on a $247,000 sticker and 60% residual. The 296 GTB models at about $4,585 and the Purosangue, carrying a +20% market adjustment, at about $7,633.
What is the cheapest Porsche to lease?
The Macan, at about $842 a month on a 56% residual — also the cheapest row on the entire site. The 718 Cayman follows at about $962, and Porsche's own page prints example rates that land within $70 of both models.
Why are some expensive EVs cheap to lease?
Collapsed residuals plus showroom discounts: the Taycan (46%), i7 (42%), and RS e-tron GT (45%) lease below their stickers' dignity because the bank already priced in the depreciation. That risk transfer makes them defensible leases and poor purchases.
Are these real prices?
They are Luxemetry calculator outputs under one fixed assumption set — 36 months, 10,000 miles, 0.0027 money factor, 10% down, 7.25% tax — snapshotted August 2026. Captive-bank promotions can beat any of them in a given quarter. Confirm with real quotes.
